$VOXX Asset
What is $VOXX?
$VOXX is the proposed settlement asset of the VOXX compute market. It is designed to connect funded demand, verified execution, and payment inside the application protocol.
Not liveNo canonical $VOXX token contract exists in v0.1. No address, supply, distribution, sale, airdrop, or launch date is published.
A compute-market asset
When token settlement is implemented, requesters may fund eligible jobs in $VOXX. A successful result credits the worker's reward and the snapshotted protocol fee. An expired job returns the complete deposit to the requester. The verifier, not a discretionary operator, controls whether a result qualifies for settlement.
01FundA requester deposits the stated amount.
02ComputeA worker executes the exact program and input.
03VerifyThe selected adapter checks bound evidence.
04SettleReward and fee become claimable.
Intended roles
| Job deposits | An approved asset for escrow funding on workloads that opt into $VOXX settlement. |
|---|---|
| Worker rewards | Payment released only after the job's registered verifier accepts the result and beneficiary. |
| Protocol fees | A prospective fee fixed at job creation and credited only after successful settlement. |
| Worker bonds | A future collateral mechanism for reserved jobs, limited to failures that contracts can determine objectively. |
What $VOXX is not
- It is not the native coin of an independent VOXX blockchain.
- It does not replace the host chain's gas asset.
- It does not secure host-chain consensus or pay block rewards.
- It does not make an incorrect program, verifier, or input specification truthful.
- It is not implemented by the native-asset-only v0.1 escrow.
Required before release
$VOXX support requires a separately reviewed token contract, allowlisted ERC-20 escrow, exact-balance accounting, explicit treatment of nonstandard token behavior, deployment manifests, adversarial tests, and independent security review.
